Saul Cardemon
A Sheikan wizard and scientist, Saul is considered a heretic by his fellows in the Hyrulian Guild of Sorcerers and at the Hyrulian University where he teaches arcane lore. He is an atheist who's field of study has put him under the close scrutiny of the royal family and his Sheikah kin. Saul believes that all the races 'evolved' from a common ancestor instead of just appearing at a Goddesses will. His theories are based on similarities he's found in the skeletal structures of the Gerudo and the Zora, and archeological discoveries he's made at Lake Hylia that date back 2 million years. Saul is a man obsessed with his calling in life. In his youth he was trained as a battle-mage, which has left him with a rather militaristic personality. He has one weakness though, and that is his daughter, Rohana - who is ironically considered a Gerudo despite her father's race.
