The day that followed the death of the Prince of Hyrule was one that all the people of Hyrule will remember forever. For the first time ever, there was no activity in Hyrule Market. Every shop was closed. Even the tavern refused to take customers.

One by one, every single inhabitant of Hyrule visited the castle to pay their respects to the child prematurly turned man to whom they all owed their lives.

And alone, sitting in a solitary castle tower was Zelda, Princess of Hyrule. She resided there in their hideaway for weeks. Contemplating the man she loved. Only accepting food and drink from her servants, nothing more. There she remianed until she requested a visit from the royal doctor. There she remained until it was discovered that she was pregnant.

Nine months later, Princess Zelda gave birth to a baby boy. On his hand he bore the mark of the Triforce of Courage...
