All was calm in Hyrule but no one could get to sleep with the recent news of a war between 2 nearby countries. Zelda looked out of her tower window and saw that a big fat man and four royal looking guards riding to the gates of the courtyard. She quickly ran to her father's room behind the throne room and woke him. "What is it my dear?" he asked her sleepily. "There is royal visitors father." She explained to him and quickly ran back up to her room to get into a more sophisticated robe. Later when she came back down her father was talking with the man and she just heard the man say, "I was wondering if we could, let's say borrow your countries hero." She then pleaded to her father asking him not to send her best friend off to fight a war with Sicily. "Well, my dear if we don't send him to Catarock to protect the Catarians from the Sicilians then Sicily will attack us." King Luther said soothingly. Zelda ran up to her room sobbing. "Well, we leave at sunrise in two days." King Jaeboreng said. The sunrise of the departure Link arrived at Hyrule Castle. "Well, I'm ready to go." He announced. Zelda brought down a sacred pendant that was passed down to her from her grandmother and gave it to Link. "This pendant will bring safety to you while you're on this trip." She told him. "I will cherish it and bring it back princess." King Jaeboreng practically dragged Link onto the boat waiting at the docks. "Wait my sword it is not in my bag, I can't fight without that sword I'll be back in ten minutes." Link burst out. He then jumped off the boat and ran home. It was five minutes away from the docks walking so he got there pretty fast and found his trusty Hyrulian sword of might and ran back to the docks. "Now may we leave?" "Yes" It took them a week to get back to Catarock. The King took Link to the castle and dressed him up like a Catarian so Sicily wouldn't know he was from Hyrule and declare war o0n them too. "Well, my boy you will be supreme commander of last chance troops." King Jaeboreng said. Link charged out of the castle walls shouting orders and acting like this was his country he was fighting for. Link had all of his troop attack from different angles and they all were successful. They killed about five troops in all before the last one died. Link was the only one left out of all the warriors of Catarock. There was about 1000 Sicilians left in Catarock. Link found a cave inhabited by bats and camped in there that night. When he awoke he found that the Sicilians had camped no more than 100 yards away from the cave. He fell back asleep when a bat came down and it him square in the back of the head hard enough to knock him. Link awoke hours later he grabbed his sword and shield. He then got out of that cave and traveled in the brush until he was close enough to take down a couple of guards and silently slit their throats before they made a sound. He then went into a tent and shot a magic beam out of the tip of his sword and killed a troop as they were sleeping. Then a guard spotted him and sounded the alarm. "RED ALERT, I REPEAT RED ALERT. INTRUDER IN SECTOR 4" boomed a voice in the box. All of a sudden Link heard dozens of footsteps rushing his way. Link jumped up to the roof of the tent and hung onto the pole until all of the soldiers had left. He jumped down and broke the neck of the soldier standing guard and dragged him in with the rest of the bodies. He saw that there were soldiers everywhere and decided to cut a hole through the top of tent and jump down from there. Link did it with success but was spotted and soon surrounded by at least a couple dozen soldiers. Then they heard "TAKE NO PRISONERS SEARCH, FIND AND DESTROY. KING JIMMIKENG'S ORDERS." Link's eyes got real wide and he knew he would have to fight for his life now. All the soldiers proceeded towards him and one daring one lunged at, missed and was sliced in the back. Soon all of them came at Link and he jumped and caught onto a post hanging above his head and watched them kill half of each other. He then swung behind them and started hacking away at them. He did a swing around and killed the remaining soldiers. In a matter of hours everyone in the Sicilian camp was either dead or dying. Link raced towards Catarock Manor and was captured by hiding troops. He was taken back to the base and all of the troops hurled because they saw all of their family and friends hacked up into pieces and turned their anger towards Link who was tied up to a tree nearby. Link had no clue what he was going to do when a mountain goat started to chew the rope off his hands. This goat happened to be sent by King Jaeboreng to help any of his men that had been captured out of harm. Link grabbed his sword and ran away with the mountain goat close behind. They heard men running behind them and Link got stuck in the arm with a spear that went straight through from the back to the front. Link got angry. He then went back after them in anger luckily it stabbed his shield holding arm and not the arm he holds his sword with. He jumped into all of them and used the spear handle to his advantage by hitting them with it then slicing their arms off or just killing them. Link got a dagger stuck into his side and an arrow into his shield holding hand (his right-hand) and he killed all of them brutally. He raced after the King Jaeboreng's home and was met at the by Sicilian troops. Link was infuriated he had fought all of those guys in the treacherous Chateau Hills just to find out that the King has been captured or even killed by these few troops that are left. "Dang" Link yelled out frustrated. He then thought "I came here to protect this country, save his people, keep the Sicily from my country, and what happens that old grump sent all of his troops out and forgot to keep some for his protection." Link had a plan he would get caught, get in the Manor, and kill all the troops to get the Manor back. Link hid his sword in the leg of his catarian pants and walked in to the gates of the manor when the Sicilian troops spotted him. Link charged them with his fists and was easily caught because he wanted to be caught. Link wasn't cuffed but was held by his arms tightly. Two of the guards escorted Link to the castle prison. Link didn't mind since he knew the locks weren't hard to pick. About two hours later when Link was alone he took his sword out and silently went and found a shield nearby. Link lost his in the Chateau Hills so this will help him. Link had an idea if he could just kill all the guards without them knowing, then he would get this mission done and over with. "I heard this guy went after our troops without even a sword, what a dope" Link heard a guard say. Then the other one said "Well I hear that the next country we are going to take over is named Hyrule and they supposedly have the best fighter in the world." Then he heard them laughing and making fun of him as the prisoner and him as Hyrule's greatest warrior. Link laughed to himself "if they only knew." Link was still looking for a dagger when a guard came in to taunt him. The guard saw Link and yelled for his buddy to ring the alarm. Link killed the guard with ease because the guard didn't have a shield. Just as the alarm started to ring Link walked over to the other guard and said "you making fun of me you bastard. Now I will tell you who I really am. I AM LINK HYRULE'S AND THE WORLD'S GREATEST WARRIOR." Link killed that guy and then was surrounded by dozens of men. "Oh time to pay which I wont have to put to much effort in to killing just Sicilians" Link said. Link had a fun time killing those guys. First he killed some of them by slicing off their arms or such and watching them die in pain and those who didn't die he finished them off. Link killed some others by killing them instantly. The last bit he killed they ambushed him and he got stabbed twice in each arm before he could use his magic blast and his famous twirl. As the last one was dying Link heard him say, "You must be Link of Hyrule because only he uses that twirl and knows how to use the magic blast. It was a honor fighting against you." Link could feel himself feeling sorry for that guy and knew he was a rookie or was pushed into fighting. Link suddenly yelled, "Why, why am I always killing young kids or people who were pushed into doing things." Link went on and killed the next guys. Link was furious, he was sick of fighting for this old man who knew nothing of running his country and knew nothing of fighting. Link wanted to get over with this mission that his own King made him do. Just then more troops came and stabbed Link from the back and he turned around and stared at them with his blood-shot eyes. Some of the men backed off while other charged him Link saw more coming out of the corner of his eye and jumped out off to the side and watched them kill each other. Link was now more than a hero to this country; he was one of the only survivors of their kind. Link knew if he didn't save this country then the Sicilians who he had a new grudge from hurting him so bad would take it over. Link was a one-man army. He would fight for what is right and hopefully he would earn a piece of their land from them to him. Link now would love to just kill all of them and take what is owed to him but he was borrowed by the King and will stay true to his word. Link wanted to get back to Hyrule and have a well-earned rest. He will just relax. When Link came out of his thoughts he was surrounded again and had swords at him. The first sword was a bout to be laid upon him when he killed the man and used the magic attack he was taught to kill many more. Link jumped and did flips in the air over the army. He then used his magic attack and killed all of them. Link was just about to run into the thrown room when he was burnt. He turned around to see flaming arrows come at him. Link chopped off the two that were straight at him and was burned by the others. Link made his way doing that painful routine and killed the archers. As you can probably tell Link was in a lot of pain from deep cuts to burns to small scrapes. By the time Link made it to the Supreme Commander he was only half there the other part seemed dead from the pain. The Commander looked exactly like Ganon to Link. "I am Sir Arcitat, but you can call my tat." Link looked up to him and was thrown by a force to the wall. Link just found out that tat was a wizard. A flaming fireball was shot right at him and Link dodged it with ease. Link had killed all of Sicilians soldiers in the country. I will only throw these at you but if you get to close I will throw you against the wall. Link could feel that he would hate this guy. Link had dodged a bunch of fireballs and made a sudden move and sliced one of Tat's arms off and was thrown away but not as strong. The fireballs were also not as large and faded instead of disappearing when it hit the wall. Link knew the source of this wizard's weakness and will destroy it. Link dodged other fireballs and got close enough to slice the wizards other whole arm off and he did. The wizard was panicking and Link knocked the wizard out. Link saved the King and the king had his doctor sew the wounds up of first Link and then Tat. Tat woke up inside a jail cell and had no powers and one arm without a hand on it. "Let me go, I will get you for this warrior" he threatened. Link just laughed and revealed himself "My name is Link from Hyrule. I am their greatest warrior and hero." Link then left to his ceremony and was welcomed by all of the returned people of Catarock. "People this is Link of Hyrule, he came here and saved us all from becoming the newest victims of Sicily. We are here to honor him and to give him the Medal of Honor and send him home to a well earned rest." Said an announcer. Link walked out onto a platform and was given a larger medal than the pendent Zelda gave him. Link took it and then they had Link walk down with the people of Catarock and was approached by a soldier and the soldier spoke "Thank You for saving my country, I am honored to meet you. I was following you to the camp and was afraid to help you fight them. I found your shield and well here it is." Link took his shield back and said "Thank You, I inherited this shield from my father when he died." The knight backed away and everyone knew the knight felt more proud of himself. Link arrived home and was welcomed by only his and the royal family. "No welcoming party?" he asked jokingly. They all laughed and said no. "We are all going to Hyrule Castle and having dinner" his uncle explained. Link then went home and fell asleep. Later that night his Uncle awakened Link and he got dressed for the dinner. It was a quiet dinner and Link enjoyed some quietness. Then when they all went to the lounge Link gave Zelda back the Pendant of Protection and showed of his Medal of Honor. Soon the dinner ended and Link and his father stayed at the castle because it was so late. Link decided to sleep in the tower that faces Zelda's Tower. Link fell asleep soon after he lay in the bed.
