Hyrule

You have just arrived in Hyrule, one of the most interactive adventures on any Zelda website ever! Hyrule first started as a text adventure that made IZC stand out over many different Zelda sites. Now it's liked by most all as one of the best interactive adventures a person can have on a Zelda site. Get out some pen and paper, but most of all, get your eyes ready because the drastic change between the IZC look and the white-drab look of Hyrule is great.

To get you started on your way, you can read the "manual" below. It's helpful and can really give you some valuable tips on the landscape of Hyrule. But if you've played before, just click on the link below and get ready for some zelda adventure!

Instruction Manual

This is sort of like a game, but technically, it would probably be catagorized as a text adventure. The object of the game is to journey through the game's world, collecting items that will help you navigate and help you in your search. The ultimate thing that you are searching for is the Triforce, but a long series of events awaits you before you can reach that goal. And Hyrule is updated frequently, so there are always new things to explore and find.

What am I searching for?

Again, your ultimate goal is to collect the Triforce. Before you do that, you have to collect many items, secrets, and information before you enter the Golden Land. But before you can even think about searching for the Triforce, you must do many other things.

- You must thoroughly explore each and every corner of Hyrule.

- Hidden in the game are several secret links. To gather fun information and items, you must find these.

- You must write down the various letters and numbers that you find on your quest. Although you may not judge it useful to you now, it is imperative that you write down the letters and corresponding numbers.

- Still confused? There are various messages in Hyrule that will help you along your way.

Tips for Beginners

- Make a map. Map out the letters and various other locations.

- Search many underlined areas for secret links.

- Write down important information.

Items Overview

There are several ways to get items in the game. Some are easy to find, and others are hidden. To find the hidden ones, you must find a secret link or solve a puzzle. Various messages in Hyrule will tell you about these puzzles. When you do get an item, you will be given an internet address. Write it down, for it will be the only way to use that item. When you wish to use that item, simply enter in that address.

A list of Items and what they do:

- Fairy: A fairy heals your life (virtually useless).

- Flute: This will transport you to one of the locations of your choice.

- Map: Duh, it tells you where everything is! This is almost essential for your survival.

- Super Map: This is a more complex version that gives away special secrets.

- Secret Tune: Can you find the mysterious Secret Tune?

- Super Link: Transform the little normal guy into a bigger, more powerful fighter.

There are many other items and tons of secrets. Try to find them all!
